The United States Civil War Medal Ribbon for the Army ,Navy & Marine Corps.
Initially this medal was issued with a red, white & blue ribbon..It was not until 1913 that the ribbon was changed to that of todays blue & grey.. because of the delay only 9,500 of these medals where issued instead of the original 2,000.000 Union federal soldiers who fought in this war of brothers.. 1861- 1865
